Great location, just a 5 min distance to Aquarium and main attractions. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they speak English. There is free wifi on the ground floor. This hostel is in historical building and has charm and atmosphere. The breakfast was good enough. Parking is avaliable close to the hotel. Really enjoyed staying there! Mariam, Tanya & Vanya

My stay at Hotel Helvetia was a charming experience. The location was perfect, with the city center, train station, and turistic port all within walking distance. The staff spoke English very well and were eager to provide helpful information. The breakfast, though lacking in variety, was enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel for its central location and friendly staff.

Staff is very polite and helpfull. Room was clean and very unusual. Brackefast is ok. Very close to the center.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. I could easily walk to the old port, aquarium, and various shops and restaurants within 15 minutes. The breakfast offered was simple but sufficient, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a nice touch. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and accommodating staff.

The triple room is air conditioned and perfectly clean, making for a comfortable stay.

The hotel is ideally situated. It is about half a mile from the railway station for trips to the resorts along the coast. It is uphill but frequent buses will take you there, though if you do go by bus you will miss interesting palaces and cafes. What you cannot miss is the fantastic church just across the road.Baroque and then some! Just around the corner towards the fascinating old port are some excellent restaurants and cafes (a bright modern one had just opened to complement the traditional ones). If you are travelling with your wife or girl friend beware of all the wonderful shops in town. Apart from the city itself with its art galleries, churches, old port and palaces the stars of this show are undoubtably the excellent and informative hotel staff who all show that they care about you and will always go the extra mile to help.

Convenient location, close to historical attractions and main street. Modern ensuite facilities with comfortable bed and air-conditioning. Helpful, English-speaking staff. Fantastic shower with fresh towels daily. Easy to explore the entire city on foot. 😊

The room has balconies and air conditioning if you get an upgrade, and it's located in a fantastic area close to the main shopping center and other shops.

It is fairly clean and big size hotel, the staff are nice and location close to everything including the wonderful street of Pallazi is marvellous and fab. There is a good choice of delicious food for breakfast. It offers excellent services and has an amazing and sensational breakfast choices. Btw, property's parking costs gbp 18 per day...

Perfectly located, within walking distance of major attractions and restaurants. Lovely staff and excellent breakfast with a variety of options. We enjoyed the fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection, crucial for uploading our romantic escape pictures.

The room was quite small and outdated, with a limited view. We had to sleep with the windows closed due to the noise from the street.
